Its 2017 already and 2016 hangovers needs to be out in this new year!

Many of us must be having hangovers which happens because of overdoing of alcohol on the last day of the year. Its common, and it’s bound to happen.

However, overdoing of anything shouldn’t be done. Alcohol tops the list!

If you are in the hangover phase, I have something right here for you! It’s not just for the new year hangover, this can be utilized anytime, for anything you feel !

How do you identify if you have a hangover?

  • Mild fatigue
  • Decreased brain function
  • Ache in the temples (can trigger migraine)
  • Upset stomach
  • Nausea
  • Light sensitivity
  • Dizziness
  • Exhaustion
  • Muscle aches
  • Inability to eat
  • Laziness to get out of the bed

How much can be your hangover (On what does it depend)?

  • Type of alcohol
  • Amount of alcohol taken
  • Food you consumed with that alcohol
  • Water intake
  • General body health
  • Body weight
  • Metabolism
  • Liver function

How to handle your hangovers (Try to keep it mild as possible)?

  • It’s obvious. Drink in moderation so that you don’t go overboard on the toxins which can have a big-time effect on your body. Human body is a machine which can flush out the toxins but that doesn’t happen overnight. The process of elimination is very slow.

Your hangover will go away eventually, give some of these remedies mentioned below a try!

  • Banana-curd smoothie!

 Ingredients: –

  • 1 Banana
  • Mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp. of curd

Method: –

  • Blend all the ingredients together in a blender.
  • Add ice cubes (if required)
  • Garnish with mint leaves.
  • Serves 1


  • Black grapes- curd smoothie!

Ingredients: –

  • 6-7 Black grapes
  • 2 tbsp. of curd

Method: –

  • Blend both the ingredients together in a blender.
  • Add ice cubes (if required)
  • Garnish with half cut grapes
  • Serves 1


  • Apple-honey smoothie!

Ingredients: –

  • 1 sliced apple
  • 1 tbsp. of honey

Method: –

  • Blend both the ingredients together in a blender.
  • Add ice cubes (if required).
  • Serves 1


  • Ginger Tea

Ingredients: –

  • Warm water (1 glass)
  • Ginger Juice
  • 1 tbsp. of honey

Method: –

  • To boiling water, add ginger juice,
  • Add 1 tbsp. of honey in the cup.
  • Adding ginger water to the cup with honey.
  • Serve hot.
  • Lemon Water

Ingredients: –

  • Luke warm water (1 glass)
  • 2 tbsp. of lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp. of honey

Method: –

  • Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Serve well.
